Changing Systems and Moving Theories in to Practice

Explore problems and solutions on a much deeper level - to effectuate systems change and address community and societal problems. This training is designed to help organizations begin the process of forming a collective by crystallizing the reasons they are seeking to pursue such, and assessing the specific problem and outcomes they wish to achieve and identifying the potential partners who have a stake in the problem and can have a potential impact. This training will focus on specific requirements necessary to do as you form a collective:

  • Identifying the problem area you want to address
  • How you research and utilize data in defining your problem
  • What does a results statement look like?
  • Defining the root causes of the problem
  • Creating a Mind Map to facilitate identification of stakeholders, causes, etc.

This training will be interactive and hands on, with attendees participating in different activities.
