Employment Law 101 for Supervisors


This class will provide supervisors with a foundation from which to understand the employment laws that affect their day-to-day work, and how these laws impact in their daily interactions with employees.

This workshop is designed to help supervisors integrate law and regulation knowledge with day-to-day supervisory activities.  Employment laws that will be covered include FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII and other critical laws and regulations.

Participant Outcomes:

  • Understand the federal employment laws and regulations
  • Identify how to guarantee laws, regulations and policies are taken into consideration
  • Apply best practices to your current work environment

Participants will review:

  • All current federal employment laws and regulations, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, OSHA, COBRA, and NLRA
  • Corrective Action and Documentation Tips
  • Do’s and Don’ts
  • Case Studies
