Best Practices in Financial Reporting for the Nonprofit (NFP)

The need to develop and define consistent financial reports is paramount towards the success within the NFP while developing a set standard of best practices that can be applied universally. Understanding and evaluating financial reports is the first step towards obtaining and developing best practice methodologies that will add value to not only the NFP but also for all stakeholders.

The seminar will summarize the three main financial reports that are used within financial reporting while developing a deep and appreciate understanding of how nonprofit financial reporting adds value supporting and facilitating the decision making process. Participants will learn to classify and evaluate the need for consistent and uniform financial reporting, as well as investigate some universal best practice traits.
