Time Management

 

“The bad news is, time flies.  The good news is, you’re the pilot.”  But we always seem to fly off course.  Can we right the ship? 

It takes discipline and mindfulness, but time can be managed.  We will discuss methods to achieve getting control of time, including why we procrastinate, how we waste time, and we will practice several skills to the extent time permits.  

 

Presenter Information:

Steven J. Greenblatt, Esq. has served as Director of Labor Relations at the S.U.N.Y. Downstate Medical Center for over 16 years, as Acting Affirmative Action Officer for six years and has been Director of Workforce and Development since 2002. Steve has investigated numerous claims of discrimination and conducts training in leadership skills, cultural sensitivity and customer service, respect in the workplace and the psychological contract. Prior to his tenure at Downstate, Steve managed disciplinary investigations, trials and appeals as Deputy Inspector General of the New York City Department of Sanitation, was Appellate Counsel to twenty-three counties’ District Attorneys for the NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services, an appellate and trial attorney for the Bronx County District Attorney and trained new prosecutors and investigators in investigative and trial techniques. Steve mediates workplace disputes and consults on diverse issues involving organizational development and human resources.

 

Program Fees:

The member fee is $65 and the nonmember fee is $115 for general registration.

Early Bird registration is $40 for members and $90 for nonmembers. The Early Bird Discount is available until July 26, 2017.

The program fee covers workshop materials, assessment tools, and most meals. Payment is due in full upon registration and enrollment will not be guaranteed until payment is received.
